Ray's Up

Ray's Up (contest: Thoughts-of-Solomon) 1st draft

Our Sun's Gone.

But tomorrow:
Ray's Up

from darkness;

groveling
among various degrees of dried-up clay

content to stray from morality
which nourishes our soil
not to spoil under heat transforming
our souls into silver or gold.

In jealousies,
fits of anger,
rivalries

to eventually
eternally

decay

if

among the gloomiest of the gloom
to interact; to lie down, then stay?

No...

Ray's Up

in praise
with birds chirping

as dawns each new day.

Never to replay tragedies.

Today
begins.

Then again
another today.

To erase. To learn.

Commence
another stage.

Engage.

Ray's Up!

Glorious.

With its radiance spinning global life

despite many drowning in a sea of rising tears
from blood spilled

due to international wars
based on hatred and strife.

Its orbit billions of moons ago spun?
Generations to forever pray; play.

Don't delay in raising voices in song.
In sweet harmony.

Joined together in a brotherhood.
Grazing. Sheep belonging.

Forgiving.
In love strong.

Until death and gravedom
cease to win.

Until a Kingdom Comes
to right all wrongs.
