"How long, O Jehovah, must I cry for help, but you do not hear?
How long must I ask for help from violence, but you do not intervene?
Why do you make me witness wrongdoing?
And why do you tolerate oppression?
Why are destruction and violence before me?
And why do quarreling and conflict abound?}
So law is paralyzed,
And justice is never carried out.
For the wicked surround the righteous;
That is why justice is perverted."
Today's journalist
said?
No. A prophet of a destruction long ago
instead.
'A pronouncement that Ha·bakʹkuk
the prophet received in a vision"
whether or not
inside his head
though, his heart bled for the judgement necessary
against God's people.
"“For I am Jehovah; I do not change."
is what we must keep in mind.
"And we have come to know
and believe
the love that God has for us.
God is love."
Through nature alone we have experienced
He's divine.
Absolutely reliable God’s promises are.
As certain as how all don't float off to the sky
yes, books, couches, anything material just doesn't fly
yet, will drop to the earth in equal time.
On these facts daily
we scientifically rely.
So when prophesied:
God will “bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”
Trust in the value of those tasty words.
"God is not a mere man who tells lies,
Nor a son of man who changes his mind.
When he says something, will he not do it?
When he speaks, will he not carry it out?"
Maybe we've read the following ancient heard:
"Remember the former things of long ago,
That I am God, and there is no other.
I am God, and there is no one like me.
From the beginning I foretell the outcome,
And from long ago
the things that have not yet been done.
I say, ‘My decision will stand,
And I will do whatever I please.’"
Being the 'Almighty'
He'll fulfill these with ease:
"For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth;
And the former things will not be called to mind,
Nor will they come up into the heart."
"They will build houses and live in them,
And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage.
They will not build for someone else to inhabit,
Nor will they plant for others to eat.
For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree,
And the work of their hands
my chosen ones
will enjoy to the full.
They will not toil
for nothing,
Nor will they bear children for distress,
Because they are the offspring
made up of those blessed
by Jehovah,
And their descendants with them.
Even before they call out, I will answer;
While they are yet speaking, I will hear.
The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
The lion will eat straw just like the bull,
And the serpent’s food will be dust.
They will do no harm
nor cause any ruin
in all my holy mountain,”
says Jehovah."
